To help sellers, buyers and specifiers understand new requirements, including CE marking, TRADA Technology Ltd has issued a new wood information sheet – Specifying wood-based panels for structural use.
Types and grades of panel designated as suitable for structural use are listed, including fibreboard, oriented strand board, particleboard, plywood and solid wood panels.
The sheet also outlines the properties that must be tested and those where standard values may be used.
