TRADA is considering launching a web-based reference source for timber which would act as a single access point for specifiers, designers and contractors for information on timber.
An action plan is being drawn up for the site but TRADA cannot say when it is likely to be launched.
The organisation is asking for trade comments by the beginning of June, which will then be used to inform a workshop on the initiative to be held some time in July.
