The deal covers sales, service and spare parts, and will give Viet, which became part of Biesse last year, access to small and medium size manufacturers in the UK that make up the core of TM Machinery’s customer base and is an important part of Viet’s target market.
The companies will hold a joint workshop and exhibition at Biesse’s Daventry technical centre on February 26-March 1 to introduce the range.
"Viet’s attention to design detail and build quality has made it a market leader in wide-belt sanding, with some 380 machines already sold in the UK and Ireland. Our agreement with TM Machinery will allow us entry to a market sector in which they are specialists," said Biesse UK managing director Steve Bulmer.
TM Machinery director Matthew Pearce said: "The agreement makes excellent sense as Viet has been synonymous with high quality wide-belt sanding and materials finishing since 1953 and leads the market in technological development. We will be able to give Biesse access to SME manufacturers and our experience of servicing refurbishing and spare parts for wide-belt sanders."
