Accsys Technologies plc subsidiary Titan Wood has appointed wood modification expert Professor Roger Rowell as chief wood scientist and “ambassador for Accoya”, the company’s modified wood.
Chief executive officer Edward Pratt said Prof Rowell would bring a wealth of experience and ideas to the company.
“Virtually no-one I have met is more passionate and knowledgeable about the field in which Titan Wood operates and Roger’s energy and experience promise to help Titan Wood across our entire business,” said Mr Pratt. “Roger was one of the early pioneers of fibre modification, which is an area in which we are now applying our Accoya technology.”
Titan Wood’s next major product development initiative is the development of Accoya technology for panel products.
