The Timber & Working with Wood show is to continue its tour of Australia, stopping off in Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne in the next two months.

The show has already been held in Sydney and Brisbane and is now moving on to Canberra on September 5-7, Adelaide on October 10-12 and Melbourne on October 24-26.

It includes exhibitions of the latest machinery and equipment for manufacturers and the timber trade, as well as hand and power tools, lathes and finishes.

Timber merchants will also be at the shows, retailing their hardwood and softwood ranges alongside companies selling finished products such as furniture and other wood-based items.

A series of seminars and workshops are to be staged to complement the exhibitors, covering topics from woodturning and laminating, to shingles and shakes.
