The PMI for the construction sector reached 59.8 in April, an increase of 0.9 from March and its highest level in 41 months CIPS has said.
Housing saw the largest growth, increasing by 4.8 index points to 60.9, with the number of new orders also remaining high and jobs levels increasing.
