Organisers of the National Homebuilding & Renovating Show report year-on-year growth in the number of timber and wood products companies exhibiting at the event.
A spokesperson said the move towards the use of more ecological products plus the trend for more natural products has led to the growth across all sectors – from flooring through to log cabins.
This year’s show, to be held at the NEC Birmingham on April 14-17, has more than 450 exhibitors. For the first time, it will run alongside the new Smart Homes Show which focuses on home automation.
