A timber investment conference is being organised in London by TTJ sister company Arena.
The decision to hold the Timber Invest conference follows the growth in institutional investment in timber, first in the US and now increasingly in Europe.
Timber as an asset class has generated stable annual returns of more than 10% for the past 20 years.
Timber Invest is aimed at pensions funds, investment management organisations, forest management companies, consultants and law firms.
Confirmed speakers include Chris Zinkhan, chief executive officer of Forestland Group, Otto Reventlow, managing director of International Woodland Company and Hugh Humfrey, managing director of Timberland Investment Resources Europe.
