The timber frame division secured more than £1m in external sales, in addition to its group work.
New factory premises increased capacity to meet demand from contract wins and the delivery of 228 homes for the 2014 Commonwealth Games Athletes’ Village.
Group turnover reached £38.5m (2011: £48.1m) with profits before tax of £3.86m (2011: £48.1m).
"Although consumer confidence continues to directly impact the housing market, the group’s diversification strategy is paying dividends with increasingly strong performance across other business divisions," it said.
