More than 50 exhibitors have now signed up for an off-site construction showcase event organised by the BRE and Mtech Group.
Ten full-scale outdoor exhibits will form the highlight of “Offsite03”, to be held at the BRE‘s site in Watford on May 19-23. One of them will be a section of an engineered modular timber frame system used in both housing and commercial applications.
Exhibitors in the timber sector include Space 4 Ltd, Taylor Maxwell and Pace Timber.
BRE spokesperson Michael Martin said: “Off-site construction is ideal for the health and education sectors because you can fully fit out an operating theatre or school room in the factory.”
