Mr Wynne was disqualified for eight years when he appared before Wrexham County Court.
It followed an investigation by the Insolvency Service which found that, in addition to not keeping proper records, Mr Wynne had failed to ensure the company filed VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE returns and make the requisite payments from at least April 2009. Shropshire Treated Timbers was placed into administration in December 2011.
