The global economy and prefabricated buildings will be central issues at THE Conference, the Builders Merchants Federation’s (BMF) annual four-day meeting for the whole building materials supply chain.

Former Wolseley director David Moody will discuss the growth in pod building and how this affects the supply chain and merchants and their interaction with customers.

Anthony Hilton, City editor for the London Evening Standard, will return to THE Conference to discuss the world’s financial future and its impact on the builders merchants sector.

At the last conference he succinctly predicted the impact sub-prime lending in the American housing market would have on the rest of the world.

Motivational speaker and memory man David Thomas will also speak to delegates, imparting his wisdom on how to achieve peak performance, both personally and in business.

THE Conference will take place at the five-star Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque resort in Tenerife on June 26-29.
