An €8.5m Europe-wide promotional campaign has been launched by flooring manufacturer Tarkett Ltd for its residential product range.

The campaign, which made its debut in France, has now been rolled out to the Netherlands, Poland and the UK.

Tarkett’s head of communications Harald Schueren said: “This is the first time we have combined a new brand strategy for our residential product range.”

Themed “Change your floor and it will change everything”, the campaign started appearing in weekend colour supplements in April and will be followed by television commercials and advertisements and home interest magazines from June.

The spend includes a new merchandising concept for Tarkett stockists. Tarkett Point is a self-contained unit enabling stockists to display product samples and literature alongside audio visual and interactive media presentations.

Mr Schueren said: “We want to enlarge our market share in the countries we have targeted.”
