Tarkett Rumba wood flooring has been used for a Gemcross Homes development of flats and villas near Edinburgh.
Local contractor Style Flooring recommended the 12mm Rumba product, which combines different shades, grains and patterns, for the 14-apartment/18-villa Wedderburn House site in Inveresk.
The flooring, offered to homebuyers in a choice of oak, maple, beech, merbau and ash, features the Ultraloc glue-free locking system and Proteco surface treatment. Tarkett claims the product’s sound-reducing underside cuts noise levels by 50% compared with floors with no sound insulation.
