An international conference and trade show focusing on the latest technology and know-how in the bioenergy sector will be held in Sweden during 2004.
Hosted by the Swedish Bioenergy Association, the event is intended to meet growing international interest in development of domestic renewable energy resources in countries such as Japan, the US and several EU nations.
Sweden already produces bioenergy on an industrial scale, with one-fifth of total energy consumption being met by bio fuels. Large users of bioenergy include forest industries and district heating plants.
The June event will be held at Elmia, Jönköping.
