Sveaskog has completed its acquisition of the Korsnäs Timber sawmill in Gävle and 200,000ha of forest land.
The deal, for SKr2.06bn, strengthens Sveaskog’s position in the Swedish timber market. The mill has an annual production capacity of 160,000m3 and caters mainly for the carpentry and furniture industries.
