Canada’s Super E House Program (TTJ December 1/8, 2001) has unveiled its first UK partner.
Sunley Homes will link up with Canadian partner Mic-Alouette International Housing to build Super E timber frame houses, which feature the latest in energy-efficient design.
Mic-Alouette will provide design expertise, technology transfer, marketing and sourcing of products and materials.
Super E is a project from Natural Resources Canada and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation designed to capitalise on increasing UK interest in energy saving homes.
An official launch of Super E and an exhibition, will take place at London’s Building Centre, Store Street, WC1, on January 22 when further UK partners will be announced.
