Woodland owners and workers in East Anglia can benefit from a DEFRA-approved Vocational Training Scheme worth £140,000 over the next three years.

The training project, which promotes woodland diversification and is managed by Anglia WoodNet, will operate in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge, Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire.

Five key areas will be covered – woodland management for biodiversity; amenity and sporting activities; technical forestry skills; wood product marketing; certification; and woodfuels.
