Stewart Milne Timber Systems is planning to make up to 74 redundancies from its Witney factory.
An announcement was made to staff yesterday. The company, which blamed poor market conditions for the decision to cut its workforce, will start consultations with staff.
The Scottish housebuilder said nearly 300 staff may be made redundant across the group.
The £10m Witney factory was opened in 2002.
