Mr Wycherley has 13 years’ experience working with major I-joist manufacturers Trus Joist, with the TJI Silent Floor System, and more recently Metsä Group. For many years he has worked closely with major UK housebuilders to optimise and fine-tune the design of their I-joist floor systems.
Staircraft Ltd is a market-leading supplier of stairs to major national UK housebuilders and Mr Wycherley’s appointment is part of an ongoing innovation and expansion strategy which will continue to deliver a better service by integrating the stair and floor offering at point of design and on site.
Commercial director Aaron Campbell said the value of an integrated solution of these two timber-to-timber elements had been overlooked for too long and with new regulations for stairs looming the company had "taken the first initiative to integrate and provide the system as one".
"Neil’s appointment will bring a depth of knowledge to the company in the area of engineered floors so that we can offer the full technical and product combination to our customers," he said.
