Wood. for good has again laid down a challenge for young designers to come up with exciting designs using timber.
This year’s competition, which follows last year’s successful event to design a wooden bridge, asks entrants to devise plans for a portable outdoor stage and performance area.
The goal is to come up with a design that looks good and works well as an engineering structure. It has to feature a cantilevered roof and the main structure must be timber.
