Connector and structural systems specialist Simpson Strong-Tie has announced the appointment of a new country manager, to cement its position in the Irish market.
David Mooney has been tasked to grow Simpson’s Irish customer base, identifying specific industry sectors with which to build long-term relationships.
Mr Mooney brings with him a technical background coupled with a wealth of sales, customer service and export experience, having worked with a number of renowned manufacturing organisations and, most significantly, within the timber engineering market.
His appointment to this new role is part of the company’s continued expansion which has seen the recent launch of a dedicated Engineered Timber Division, as well as substantial investment in CE marking.
