The product was used in 15 out of 41 winning sites developed by builders such as Barratt, Bellway, Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey. All the battens were specified and installed by SM Roofing Contracts of Walsall.
Pride in the Job is the only competition in the UK dedicated to recognising site managers in house building.
SR Timber, of Walsall, which was bought by SIG earlier this year, was formed seven years ago to sell battens produced in the Baltic states.
Trading director Shaun Revill said: "We are proud of the contributions that we have made to roofing battens over the past seven years and the success of our Vacsol Premium Gold batten in particular."
