Seminars run by the Southern Pine Council (SPC) in the Caribbean have attracted hundreds of people.
Sessions were held in Grand Cayman, St Martin and Puerto Rico, with the latter event attracting about 150 engineers, builders and other lumber specifiers.
SPC also exhibited at the Hardware/Housewares Show in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The event was attended by thousands of buyers, architects and builders.
Visitors were handed SPC Spanish-language publications including the International Buyer’s Guide.
The Caribbean accounts for about two-thirds of southern pine exports.
