Specialist knowledge in the manufacture of curved veneered components helped Leeds-based Spa Laminates create a bespoke television stand for professional photographer Trevor Marshall.
The subtly curved freestanding unit was made in birch veneer and the internal lining was stained black to echo the decor of the room in which it stands.
The back of the screen and all the wires are hidden by another curved panel.
Mr Marshall chose Mazur Birch veneer from Spa’s website to tone with the solid wooden floor and surrounding decor of his living room.
Spa marketing director Daryn Forster said: “This is a first for us. We really enjoyed designing and building the piece, although it was not without its technical difficulties. We hope it will be the first of many.”
