The SPC northern Europe representative Eddie Pearce has already held sessions accompanied by industry experts for architects and timber merchants in High Wycombe, Loughborough and Basildon.
“It was clear from our discussion that treated southern pine is gaining ground in the market place, despite the fact that it is the more costly option for building a timber deck,” said Mr Pearce.
The council said it believes the British decking market will continue to grow for at least the next five years.
