The revised Softwood Lumber Consumption Forecast predicts levels will reach 17.5 billion board feet in 2007, a drop of 4% from the 2006 annual shipment volume of 18.2 billion board feet.
Total softwood timber consumption is estimated at 58.2 billion board feet in 2007.
