Sonae UK Ltd has received renewed Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody certification for the manufacture, sale and distribution of particleboard, MDF and OSB.
The certification, which demonstrates that Sonae’s Knowsley plant meets the requirements of BM TRADA‘s TRADA-Trak chain of custody, also applies to value-added decorative products such as melamine faced chipboard for the furniture industry.
Sonae is also authorised by FSC to use a “mixed sources” label, which states that Sonae products are made from raw material from well-managed forests, controlled sources and recycled wood fibre.
