The solid wood business of Brazilian forest products company Aracruz Celulose has risen from 15% to 24% of total sales in the past three years.
In its annual report 2003, global bleached eucalyptus pulp supplier Aracruz says it expects to export 46% of its solid wood products this year.
Subsidiary Aracruz Produtos de Madeira operates a sawmill in southern Bahia, supplying wood products from eucalyptus plantation lumber to the furniture and interior design industries in Brazil and abroad.
