The Birmingham company is supplying each scout who attends this summer’s 21st World Scout Jamboree in Chelmsford with a patrol box, designed to hold essential cooking utensils and double as a wind break to protect the all-important cooking flames.
Smith Bros managing director Harvey Smith, a former scout, said: “We are pleased we can do our bit by providing these patrol boxes to ensure the centenary is celebrated in such a way as to ensure the young scouts of today can look back at the fabulous opportunities that scouting can provide.”
