Innovaré Systems’ i-SIP panel building system has helped Hillingdon Council to develop the first assisted living housing to achieve level 5 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

The 162mm SIPs were specified for Triscott House in Middlesex project due to their thermal insulation properties.

“We have worked hard to ensure that our commitment to sustainable building continues to be the driving force as we roll out our building programme across the borough. By using SIPs on this particular project we have created a building for the future that conforms to government standards on energy efficiency,” said Hillingdon’s director of social care, health & housing, Linda Sanders.

The building also features a ‘living’ wall and PV solar panels on its roof.
