The 3m-wide hanger, created for Simpson’s trip to the Building Component Manufacturers Conference, has been entered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Theoretically, the hanger has a load capacity of 533kN – the equivalent of supporting more than seven double decker buses stacked on top of each other.
