Simon, who is based at the company’s Dartford office, has many years experience in publishing in a variety of editorial roles, from daily newspapers and monthly lifestyle magazines to scientific journals and contract published periodicals.
Simon will lead the news coverage on both titles and handle the e-newsletters and social media channels, as well writing features, and attending industry events.
“It’s an exciting appointment and should give us increased ability to put more unique and targeted content in the magazines and online,” said Stephen Powney, group editor.
