SCM Group UK’s new headquarters has been officially opened by the Sheriff of Nottingham during the company’s in-house exhibition.
The Sheriff, councillor Brian Grocock, cut the ribbon on the Nottingham building with SCM Group vice-president Adriano Aureli, in front of all SCM UK employees, Italian representatives, distributors, suppliers and visiting customers.
“With the new building we expect to continue SCM’s progress in the UK and Irish markets and having everyone together will ensure we provide comprehensive demonstration, servicing and most importantly these days, training, to all our existing and potential new customers,” said SCM UK managing director Gabriele De Col.
More than 80 customers from as far afield as the Shetlands and Northern Ireland attended the in-house exhibition, which Mr De Col said he was pleased with in the difficult economic climate. He said many orders and serious enquiries were taken.
