The total forested area certified by SGS Qualifor now amounts to more than 15 million ha worldwide.
The world’s largest FSC-accredited certification body said the first forest certification in Chile had recently pushed the total area above the 15 million mark. The total area is covered by 90 certificates ranging from community forests in the Solomon Islands to Nordic woodlands.
The total number of SGS Qualifor chain of custody certificates is almost 500.
