Growing interest in architectural feature trusses has led Scotts of Thrapston to offer a bespoke design and manufacture service tailored around these building features.

The Trussed Rafter Association member aims to make feature trusses a consideration for all types and sizes of premises – from housing to schools and public houses to retail – which are all areas where the company has vast experience.

Scotts of Thrapston marketing manager Julia Berrie said: “As a preferred supplier to many leading housebuilders and construction companies, Scotts’ design team can bring inspiration and expertise to a project wishing to make a design statement with its trusses.

“In many cases we can bring a unique interior feature into a development without breaking the budget.”

Scotts can manufacture in virtually any hardwood or softwood to suit the individual application.

Their feature trusses can be pressure treated, stained, painted or left in their natural finish and all exterior fittings can be supplied in a variety of materials.

If required, truss connections can be hidden to adhere to specific design requirements.
