Medite FR cedar veneered slats form interior cladding on the Pebbles Bar – the central eye-catching feature of the new dining and leisure centre at the Wellcome Trust’s Genome Project campus. Lacquered Medite FR wall panelling was preferred instead of plasterboard in the gym.
The cladding in the dining area, which seats 200 people, was produced by specialist joinery company Taylor Made and is designed to reinforce the elliptical shape of the bar’s tubular steel and timber frame structure.
All interior work was carried out by Sherlock Interiors Contracting.
