SCA‘s latest crop of six trainees have successfully completed their training course in Sweden, with one passing the examination with distinction.
All the students will now receive Institute of Wood Science Timber Studies Awards.
The trainees included candidates from timber importer Illingworth, Ingham (Manchester) Ltd, building supplies company BCL – which hosted the UK modules of the course at their Stoke-on-Trent premises – and from SCA Timber UK.
SCA’s Rundvik whitewood sawmill hosted the group while they were in Sweden.
