The reorganisation of SCA Timber’s operations following the acquisition of French merchant supply company PLF has resulted in promotions and a new appointment.
Maria Nicholls has joined SCA Timber Supply UK in Stoke as financial controller, while existing staff members Alan Mills and Neil Emsley have been promoted.
Mr Mills is now finance director for all three SCA Timber Supply merchant supply chain businesses in Europe: in the UK, France and Scandinavia.
Mr Emsley is now group operations director for SCA Timber Supply UK’s three sites at Stoke, Welshpool and Hull.
"Neil’s expertise in operational planning, along with his fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, will help us develop our holistic approach to customer service across our three UK sites," said SCA Timber Supply managing director Rob Simpson.
