Business growth has led SCA Timber to centre its UK sales and administration under one roof at its Stoke-on-Trent facility.

The timber merchanting and agency operations will work alongside the DIY supply chain management team under the name SCA Timber Supply Ltd from January 1.

The existing sales forces of both sides of the business are unaffected by the move and may be increased in coming months as the business expands. However, five full-time office administration staff at Warrington and Grove Wharf will be made redundant.

SCA’s production base at Warrington remains and its importing operations in the Humber area will continue as normal.
