Worcestershire-based Deckbuilders (UK) Ltd has finalised its move into new premises after an increase in sales left it needing more space for stock and its carpentry team.
The company has agreed a long-term lease on a 2,400m² facility at The Firs near Pershore, where it has a showroom, carries out internal pre-building, stores materials and houses its back end staff, including designers and carpenters.
“We are continuously seeking to improve on performance whether it be design, installation or general service,” said managing director Jason Wakley.
“Although the move is recent, the new facilities will enable us to pre-build or part build structures off site and also create show pieces to demonstrate a portflio of actual live samples.”
Mr Wakley added that the company has experienced growth off the back of the popularity of home improvements and the rising value of the property market, which has left people unable to move and wanting to improve their existing homes.
The move into new premises has been coupled with the launch of a new website, which includes decking project examples and technical information relating to the company’s products, which Mr Wakley has said has led to a tenfold increase in enquiries since its launch.
