An examination of the uses of forest reserves in Russia has revealed that no measures to implement the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and other legal acts to regulate the forestry industry are being taken.
The results of the inspection, which also revealed that the forestry industry lacks juridical and economic independence, have been submitted to president Vladimir Putin and measures to eliminate the problems are to be put in place.
