Rowlinson Timber Ltd has made a major contribution to the construction of a bird hide that will allow children and visitors to Coedpoeth in Wales the opportunity to interact with and enjoy the local wildlife.

The Feed the Birds Project at Nant Mill Visitor Centre has been awarded funds by the Forest Education Initiative (FEI) to build the bird hide and a sculpture trail, with the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Awards For All and Rowlinson also contributing funds.

It is understood that without Rowlinson’s £400 donation, it is unlikely that FEI would have awarded the funding needed to carry out the project.

“We are delighted to be part of a sustainable project such as this,” said Rowlinson managing director John Bate.
