Rowlinson Garden Products has called on its stockists to order their fencing early after the widely reported shortage in 2007.
According to the firm, homeowners will be renovating their gardens earlier next year as Easter falls at the end of March and, as such, stockists “need to be prepared”.
“Last year’s winter storms demonstrated how important it is for customers to get stocks in early to cope with unpredictable demand,” said Rowlinson Garden Products sales and marketing director Paul Taylor.
“We have taken steps to support our customers and meet their fencing needs throughout next season.”
Rowlinson Garden Products added that is has “sourced extra raw materials to create additional capacity in preparation for what looks set to be another busy season”.
