Rougier and Egger have been recognised for their achievements in promoting the FSC brand.
The companies were presented with trophies in the FSC Global Partner Awards in the timber products manufacturing category during a gala dinner in Bonn.
Pulp and publishing companies, as well as retailers, were also among the winners.
Dr Michael Conroy, author of “Branded! How the Certification Revolution is Transforming Global Corporations”, was the keynote speaker at the awards ceremony.
The awards were part of FSC Friday on September 24, which also saw several UK companies offering discounts on FSC-certified products and an auction by FSC Denmark of donated FSC-certified products.
FSC Friday was designed to promote responsible forest management worldwide.
