An as yet unattributed website is causing concern and anger among the timber frame sector and wider timber industry.
The site, www.timberframefires.co.uk, purports to have been launched in response to “growing concerns over the health and safety of construction workers, fire fighters and residents, together with the risk of fire spreading to adjacent properties”.
The site offers images of timber frame fires for download and invites photographers to supply more. However, there are no contact details on the site and there is no indication who is behind it.
