Robertson Timberkit is to build a three-bedroom timber frame house in the new Manufactured Solutions section at Interbuild 2004.
Robertson Timberkit sales director Derek Hamilton said: “The house will serve as an example of what is possible and we are looking forward to meeting main contractors, architects, social housing providers and house builders who are keen to develop timber frame solutions as a viable alternative to traditional construction methods.”
The Manufactured Solutions section is one of many new features within Interbuild which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on April 25-29. It will showcase a major display of manufactured solutions for which, the organisers, say there is a massive potential market.
Event director Steve Webb said that while Interbuild was a proven place to do business, it also had an important role to play in educating people on the latest techniques, products and developments.
