The annual event rewards individuals and teams for their commitment towards outstanding achievements and exceptional customer services across 14 categories.

This year there were 259 nominations for the awards, including employees, Ridgeons managers and directors.

The winners were: Sharon Rohn, counter sales assistant – Fundraiser of the Year; Adrian Abotts, business development co-ordinator – Extraordinary Customer Service Champion of the Year (East Region); Raf Wolski, deliveries co-ordinator – Extraordinary Customer Service Champion of the Year (West Region); Julian Medcalf, operations assistant – Extraordinary Customer Service Champion of the Year (South Region); Richard Marsh, team leader – Extraordinary Customer Service Champion of the Year (Non-Merchants); Terry Cass, driver/operations assistant at the Sudbury branch – Driver of the Year; Scott Henn, sales representative – Salesperson of the Year; Lightside Team, Cromwell Road, Cambridge – Team of the Year; Ray Minns, transport supervisor – Team Member/Player of the Year; James Matlock, sales trainer – Terry Parker Training and Development Award; Michael Black, supervisor, sales office – Matt Taylor Award for Outstanding Achievement; Darren Tobyn, general manager – Manager of the Year; Royston – Branch/Department of the Year; Nigel Haslop, commercial team manager – Lifetime Achievement Award.
