Scotland’s largest independent timber merchant Rembrand Timber has opened its 17th branch in Dumfries.
The company has invested about £1m in the Dumfries Enterprise Park premises, including the warehouse and offices, stock, racking and vehicles, with seven jobs being created.
The branch will feature Rembrand’s timber and joinery products, together with a new building materials range to cater for all trades.
Rembrand opened new branches in Elgin, Newton Stewart and Thurso last year, as well as taking a shareholding in new roof truss and engineered flooring business Kingdom Timber Engineering.
