Hardwood flooring distributor Tradewoods is predicting 50% growth this year after relocating to Burscough, Lancashire.

The move to a 10,000ft² warehouse enables the com-pany to carry larger stocks of flooring and accessories, with a purpose-built trade counter managed by Bill Trainor.

Tradewoods says the site will expand its business with hardwood flooring contractors as well as with developers and architects.

Howard Bryan of Tradewoods said: ‘Having established the company two years ago, the business has grown to such an extent that relocation was unavoidable. This move now puts us in prime position to rapidly expand the business still further over the next few years.’

An own branded range of high-specification solid plank flooring, Tradewoods Classic, has been added, along with traditional herringbone block flooring in a variety of species. The Ekowood 3-Strip and Ekoplank 1-Strip prefinished engineered flooring ranges now include red oak, cherry and ash.
